1. Find Your Child's School
First, look for your child's school above and select the school that your child attends. Once you select your child's school a new page will open up displaying a registration form.
2. Fill Out Registration Form
Second, make sure to fill out the registration form with the correct information, then hit the "submit" button. Please double check that your email is written correctly so we can email you the payment form.
3. Fill Out Payment Form
Third, after submitting your registration form you will receive an email with payment options. (This may take up to 24 hours). Once you have submitted your payment, you are all done!

What age group is the program designed for?
Chess Prep and Beyond is suitable for children ages 5 to 14 years old from 1st through 8th grade.
How much experience do students need to participate?
Children don't need any prior experience with chess to join our program. We welcome beginners and provide them with all the necessary tools and support to learn and grow.
How long are the classes and how often do they meet?
Our after-school program runs once a week for an hour. The day of the week in which we'll meet will be shown on the school flyer. Depending on the contract with each school we will meet for the duration of 6 to 10 weeks.
How is the program structured?
Typically each class is divided into 4 segments: chess lesson, gameplay, chess puzzle, and chess trivia.
How much does the program cost and can I pay cash?
Depending on how long the session is, the price can range from $120 for a 6 week session to $210 for a 10 week session. We do not take cash payments. All our payement transactions are online.
What is the process for enrolling my child in the program?
Find your child's school on the "School Program" page, then fill out the registration form. Afterwards, you will receive an email with a link to your invoice and payment options.
Are there any scholarships or discounts available?
If you have enrolled your child in our program before you are eligible for a 20 dollar discount.
What are our cancellation policies?
If your child cannot commit to the end of the session, you must notify us and you will only be charged a prorated amount.
Will students have the opportunity to participate in tournaments?
Depending on the level of each class, we typically have three or more classes entirely devoted to an in class tournament.
What topics are covered?
Depending on the level of each class, we cover a wide range of topics from beginner, intermediate, and advanced chess tactics.
